I recently heard Dries Van Noten, the wonderful Belgian designer, describing it thus; ‘Luxury is being able to grow my own vegetables’. I for one, agree wholeheartedly. These days in the mild spring air with the promise of even better weather to come and some very light rain – watching the pots lining up on the greenhouse shelves and seeds beginning to sprout everywhere is simply amazing!
Indeed – even luxurious…
